Shwmae! I’m Rhian and I joined SVC as an Associate Trustee in September 2019. My background is in Higher Education; I have over 20 years’ experience of universities, including Aberystwyth, Oxford, Oxford Brookes, and Worcester College (Oxford). I moved home to Wales in 2016 and I now work at Cardiff University as the HR Manager for Recruitment and Global Mobility. Recruitment, welfare/wellbeing and EDI have been key themes throughout my career. I become a Trustee so that I could be part of delivering the amazing projects SVC runs. The opportunities this charity offers are life-changing for both beneficiaries and volunteers, and I am privileged to play a small part. Get involved – you won’t regret it.
