Welcome to SVC!
We are Skills & Volunteering Cymru (SVC), a volunteering charity based in Cardiff. Our volunteers run a variety of projects across South Wales combating loneliness and isolation for many different beneficiary groups.
We are always eager to discuss new needs within the local community. If you have a project idea, please don't hesitate to get in touch!
We’d be happy to welcome you to our office. Our staff work a blend of office and home-based schedules, so it’s always worth reaching out to confirm if the office is open and staff are available. Unfortunately, our office is not wheelchair accessible. If you have any mobility needs, please contact us, and we will gladly arrange to meet you at a location of your choice.
We are committed to making our projects inclusive and accessible for everyone. If you have any suggestions on how we can improve, feel free to reach out to us directly or provide feedback via our form by clicking this link: Tell Us How We Are Doing!
You can apply for our projects by filling out the application form available under the 'Get Involved - Apply to Volunteer' tab on our website, or by clicking this link: Apply To Volunteer Alternatively, we can assist you with the application process over the phone or in person. We will also make reasonable adjustments to support our volunteers, staff, and beneficiaries.
We look forward to meeting you!
