Join Innovate Trust: Make a Difference in Health and Social Care & Experience the Third Sector
Innovate Trust has been providing support and guidance to disabled people since 1967. We are a local charity offering paid opportunities to be part of a student-founded health and social care organisation rooted in community action.
Do you want to make a difference in your community?
Innovate Trust are looking for passionate graduates who share our values to be part of our community and contribute to our mission of developing innovative ways of supporting people with disabilities and mental health conditions, enabling them to live valued lives within their communities.
Innovate Trust was originally set up as a volunteering project called Cardiff University Social Services (CUSS). We were the first charity in the UK to set up a group home! At Innovate Trust we take pride in our history of students bringing about meaningful change. You can find out more about our start and our story so far here.
No experience, no problem!
Experience in health and social care is not a requirement, all we ask is that you want the chance to gain valuable experience and make a real difference to real people’s lives.
We provide all necessary training, including shadowing and hands-on training with the people you will be supporting.
Whether you have a background in health and social care, social sciences, psychology, or any other relevant fields, there is a place for you at Innovate Trust. We believe that doing good and making a positive impact is something truly special, and we invite you to be a part of creating an accessible and inclusive community in South Wales.
While experience in the third sector is not a requirement, we are seeking individuals who understand its importance and are eager to learn more about the third sector and how it works. Our aim is to recruit recent graduates who can bring new experiences, ideas and enthusiasm to Innovate Trust.
Want to expand your knowledge? We’ll support you!
We also fund relevant qualifications that would help you in your role to gain more knowledge in the health and social care sector.
Where possible, we will support you to develop your career at Innovate Trust. Meet Chiara, Operations Manager, as she talks about applying, training, and achieving a Team Leader position in her first year at Innovate Trust.
