SVC AGM & Awards Ceremony 2020

This week SVC would have celebrated our AGM & Awards Ceremony. Although we can’t thank our volunteers in person, we wanted to take this opportunity to thank all of our wonderful volunteers, beneficiaries and partners for their engagement this academic year!

SVC has provided 481 volunteering opportunities this year and our volunteers have contributed to an amazing 20,000 hours of volunteering! Our volunteers have supported 13,680 beneficiaries across our 30 fantastic projects. SVC’s projects cover South Wales and work with a range of people including the homeless, children and young people, those with disabilities, and the environment. We are so grateful for our volunteers and the brilliant work they do!

We are delighted to announce the outcome of the Volunteer of the Year Nominations:

Gold – Jonathan
Silver – Ben and Nina
Bronze – Amanda

Thank you so much for all your hard work and dedication this year!

We would also like to mention our marvelous volunteers who have received a Special Recognition Award – Anjali, Amy, Arzu, Cerys, Chaselea, David, Erika, Henry, Kelly and Sophie!

SVC are working hard to find new ways of digital volunteering and delivering food and medication to vulnerable people, so keep up-to-date with all upcoming posts, or email us at info@svcymru.org if you’d like to get involved.
