Here at SVC we like to keep in touch with all of our amazing former volunteers through our Alumni Network. We’ve recently heard from Michelle Kellaway Bianco a former SVC Volunteer. Read on to find out what Michelle is up to now and how Volunteering helped her with her Career.
Michelle Kellaway Bianco studied her Bachelors in Social Sciences (BPS Route) from 2013 to 2016 at Cardiff University. She volunteered with SVC on many projects including;
- Two years on the Police Student Volunteering Scheme
- One year as a Lead Volunteer for the Field Days Organic Project
- One year as a Lead Volunteer on the WATCH Project
- One year as a Volunteer on the Fantastic 4 Project
- One year as a General Trustee on the SVC Board
- One year as Vice-Chair on the SVC Board
Since graduating from University and SVC, Michelle has started an exciting career with North Somerset Council as a Business Intelligence Analyst but she still keeps in touch with all of her friends here at SVC!
When asked about her time at SVC Michelle said;
“SVC was essential in getting my new job. It a key part of my application and made a really interesting topic in the interview. Without SVC I am sure I would not be where I am today.”
Thank you for getting in touch Michelle!
