The SVC ball is a real highlight of our year, enjoyed by the board, lead volunteers, volunteers, supporters and friends. Here are 5 reasons why it's amazing:
1. It's a celebration of YOU
SVC has the most wonderful community surrounding it, and the ball is a chance for everyone to get together and celebrate all the hard work that so many people put in to making this charity as fantastic as it is.
2. Dancing, dresses and food
Uni doesn't offer up a lot of chances to get out of your dressing gown, but at the SVC ball, you'll have a chance to don your best dress/ fancy suit, eat some delicious food and dance until your feet hurt!
3. It's a chance to get the word out
Anyone can come to the ball, so you can invite housemates, coursemates, any mates you like and get them involved in the work SVC do, as well as having a laugh together.
4. It raises funds to support the work we do
SVC helps so many people and improves the quality of people's lives on a daily basis. The ball helps us to raise funds to support that work. So, you can buy your ticket and have an incredible night all while helping to support the vulnerable in your community.
5. Exams are done, let your hair down!
By 24th February, January exams are done and the dreaded end of term assessments are not yet looming. Take advantage of this and have some fun in the name of a good cause!
