Karen Harvey-Cooke has been involved with Skills and Volunteering Cymru for over 20 years. She is a Diversity and Inclusion Specialist at Eversheds Sutherland.
Karen started her career in training and development at Cardiff University Students’ Union and then moved to an organisational development role at Cardiff University. It was in this role that she started to work on inclusion projects and supporting organisations to embed diversity, equity and inclusion in everything they do. She has worked in the private and public sector in strategic diversity and inclusion roles. Outside of work, Karen can most often be found travelling with her wife, building LEGO and being told what to do by their cat Hedwig.
