Nicole Hughes-Thompson is the Treasurer on the SVC board. She brings her experience as a Senior Policy Manager in the Violence against women, domestic abuse and sexual violence sector, where she focuses on addressing challenging and impactful issues. Her academic journey led her to a PhD from Bangor University, where she delved into the realm of social value in the context of hospice care. Nicole is interested in maximizing the positive impact we can make in our communities. Outside of data, Nicole is deeply passionate about making a difference in the third sector. Nicole took on this trustee role in 2023 after joining as part of the Step to Non-Exec program delivered by Chwarae Teg and is thankful for being a part of an organisation which is working hard every day to create positive change in the community.
