Why Frame Running?
Frame Running opens up the world of walking and running to anyone who might be concerned about falling, regardless of their age. This inclusive sport builds mobility, fitness, and overall well-being. It's a fantastic way to get active and have fun at a grassroots level, and it can even lead to more competitive events like 5Ks, marathons, or even the Paralympics.
Who Can Volunteer?
Our diverse group includes 13 members ranging in age from 3 to 71, each with their own unique support system. As a volunteer, you'll play a vital role in motivating and supporting these runners, creating a positive and encouraging atmosphere. You'll also enjoy the fresh air, learn from experienced runners, and become part of a welcoming community. Ideally, we have two volunteers per session to ensure everyone receives adequate attention.
What Does Frame Running Involve?
We have a variety of running frames available, each designed to provide stability and support. These frames feature a saddle, chest plate, and handlebars similar to a bicycle, but without pedals. They have three slim racing wheels and can be adjusted to fit each individual's needs.
