Welcome to SVC!
We are Skills & Volunteering Cymru (SVC), a volunteering charity based in Cardiff. We support our volunteers to run a variety of projects across South Wales combating loneliness and isolation for children and adults with a disability, young carers, hopistal patinets and people experiencing homlessness.
If you are interested in learning more about SVC then please get in touch. Our staff work a blend of office and home-based schedules, so it’s always worth reaching out to confirm if the office is open and staff are available. Unfortunately, our office is not wheelchair accessible. If you have any mobility needs, please contact us, and we will gladly arrange to meet you at a location of your choice.
We are committed to making our projects inclusive and accessible for everyone. If you have any suggestions on how we can improve, feel free to reach out to us directly or provide feedback via our form by clicking this link: Tell Us How We Are Doing!
You can apply for our projects by clicking this link: Apply To Volunteer Alternatively, we can assist you with the application process over the phone or in-person. We also make reasonable adjustments to support our volunteers, staff, and beneficiaries. If you have any concerns about getting involved, whether you're a carer, parent, have a conviction, health needs or a disability - we will always do our best to reduce any barriers to volunteering - drop us an email at info@svcymru.org and we can look at how we can help.
We look forward to meeting you!
